M Pavaman Murthy

I was looking at the paper of Quillen on Serre conjecture/problem. In his one short paragraph introduction, only person Quillen gave credit to was Matam Pavaman Murthy. 

I learned that M. P. Murthy passed away last night (March 21 2026).
